:[:History:]: Skye's parents were killed in a poisonous algae bloom when she was 10. After that she searched for a cave to live in. Finding a cave with a large grove of coconuts and shell fish. Its easy for her to do this because her strain of merfolk adapted to be able to go on land. Being able to turn their fins into legs they made it so that they could survive in a world where land dwellers ruled. This made it easier to hind among the two legged peoples and made it easier to defeat enemies. Though there is a draw back. The farther away from water they are, the weaker they become, though not totally helpless, they have no extra ordinary powers. They also need to make sure that they stay very very well hydrated if not they would start to dry out. And thats ever mer-persons greatest fear.
