Hikari closed her eyes and sighed being close to Kiyo calmed her. Listening to his purrs calmed her as she opened her eyes and nuzzled him weakly and purred. Something deep within her felt even more scared.
Hikari listened to the wind goddess and frowned the news only made her feel more and more horrible. 'Desendent of the cat goddess it can't be but...it be the only reason why I am so weird...' she thinks to herself. When she hears of her grandfather killing her parents and sending Kiyo away she hissed as tears stained her eyes. "Why! What's so important about being a cat goddess desendant that I have to go to some dumb temple...I hate this why didn't he just kill me with them so I wouldn't of had to be alone" she yelled and ran out of the house feeling dizzy and upset.

Both the Wind Spirit and Kiyo felt Hikari’s distress, the news of the truth would be overwhelming to the point where it would bring mix feelings and distress to her heart, Kiyo help her to sit back down as she look like she was getting dizzy, and for the moment the conversation was brought to a halt till Hikari had calmed down. Kiyo thought a glass of water would help as he first went into the kitchen to get some before come back and had her to drink it, from then on the Wind Spirit went on to explain Hikari true heritage.
“You… and your family are descendent of the Cat Goddess Hikari-chan, and this is the story; in this little village five hundred years ago the Cat Goddess once protected this valley bring peace and prosperity as she lived out her days in the temple shrine, over time this land was once very rich as the people became arrogant and greedy and it sadden the Goddess’s heart. So she took it upon herself to leave the temple and the whole valley lost her blessing so to teach the people a less and promised to return to them if they’ll change their ways, but sadly… the people had something else in mind, they took back the Goddess and locked her away in the temple shrine to keep the village rich and prosperous, and she was kept locked away for three generations. That being until a Youngman took pity and helped the Goddess escape, she was so moved by his kindness that she’d fell in love with the Youngman and decide to marry him which made the Cat Goddess become human, and throughout her life she live happily and in peace without the villagers seeking her since they didn’t know she became human.”
“Through the descendent of the Cat Goddess humans were only birthed until you Hikari-chan, since you have cat ears & tail your Grandfather believes you are the new Cat Goddess that will bring about years of prosperity to this land, no doubt your Grandfather wishes to us your power so he can become rich, after all… he owns most of the farm land of this village.” This was hard to swallow but… it was also hard for the Wind Spirit to be speaking the true that lead up to Hikari’s parents passing in murder and that Kiyo was sent away.

Hikari panted and held onto Kiyo she didn't know how to feel how to react. She decided to do the only thing she could was to numb herself and tell herself it wasn't real. She knew it was but if she told herself this she be calmer then what she was she felt she would break down and cry forever. "I'm a decsendent...of the cat goddess, Can't I just leave the village with Kiyo" Hikari asks curiously her face extremlly pale. "W-why is Kiyo like me too... he wasn't born like this"

There was no other way around it but… it was time for Hikari to learn the truth and there was no way to sugarcoat it, then again to see the outcome from her reaction the Wind Spirit wept for Hikari to see her so sad in hearing the truth. “I’m so sorry… Hikari-chan, to help bare such sadness, wither you wish to believe it or not you are a descendent of the Cat Goddess and you can’t run from that, you can leave the village if you choose to run with Kiyo but your grandfather will only seek you out continually, but… can you run for the rest of your life?” In the change of subject asking why Kiyo is like her both the Wind Sprite and Kiyo thought about wondering themselves, “don’t have an answer but a theory, you and Kiyo have a deep bond with each other, a pure love love like no other have I ever seen before when you two were young, didn’t you like him from the moment he’d tended to your wounds Hikari-chan and that he was the first one who accepted you thought you are a neko. And Kiyo… didn’t you like Hikari-chan when you wanted to help her stop crying even as you are doing now and when you two where close friends, when Kiyo took your blood… you two had made a deep bond with each other, and since you have the blood of the Cat Goddes it made Kiyo become a Neko, haven’t you notice that Kiyo lost that part of himself when you two parted?”

Hikari listened to the wind talk to them both she took deep breaths and leaned against Kiyo finding it very soothing she found what the goddess was saying somewhat over baring. She looked at Kiyo she understood the bound part she could feel it but she never knew if it was just something she formed in the back of her mind she looked at her.
"I yes I've always loved Kiyo...and that part is missing from him" Hikari mumbled feeling her eyes get watery again she was trying to be strong. " I wouldn't have to run away forever...grandpa won't live longer then me..." she mumbled, but in the back of her mind she couldn't help but wonder if there was something with her grandfather like he lives forever or something weird like that.

Hikiari seemed to have calmed down but still the dreadful feeling still lingered as her eyes became watery once more, “that part still remains within Kiyo, though your Grandfather took away all his childhood memories but he starting to remember, why else did Kiyo felt the need to return to you, it was his inner true self that loves you so much where he was compiled to kept his promise, so naturally he came back for you Hikari-chan.” These’s answers did help fill in some hole where Kiyo started to understand, at that he’d started to remember more, flashback of his childhood with Hikari about how they were always together playing and laughing, but what sparked him was their first kiss he’d suddenly remember which had him to gasp lightly. True…Hikari is right about her grandfather not expecting to live long as her, but there was something also to conceder that even came to Kiyo in thought, “I… remember… I remember your grandfather and what he’s like Hikari-chan…” said Kiyo before continuing, “he always told me to stay away from you and even punishes you whenever he see you playing with me or sneak out to meet with me, the man is very driven to go so far as to do unforgiving thing, even if we run we’ll be running for a very long time. He’s not going to give up till he dies, and I don’t think he’ll pass on for a long time.” A sad look came in the Wind Spirit eyes knowing Kiyo is right, if they want to run they’ll be running for a long time and living if fear. “But… I not giving up on you…. Hikari,” he said.

Hikari remembered her grandfather how she used to visit him at times. He would forbid her and if she went out to meet Kiyo she would be beat she didn't care when she was little pain was only temporarly meeting Kiyo gave her such joy. She sat there wondering what they should do now. "If we ran away could you stay with us wind spirt...or should we stay here conered like mice?" she asks curiously.

I was true, from the words Hikari told, both Kiyo and the Wind Sprit knew they couldn’t live a life like cornered mice till her grandfather seeks to take her way, so with the option to run it sounded like a sounded plan. “Then I’ll help you Hikari-chan however… I can not go with you, there is no place for me in the outside world, I am a Wind Sprit, this is my home, the safe haven for all demons and sprits of all kinds. I would ask where you and Kiyo will go but to ensure your safety from your grandfather it’s best I shouldn’t be told, I’m not the sort who would lie and would only tell the truth, therefore if he ask me of your whereabouts on can truthfully say that I don’t know, Hikari-chan… for a long time I have watch over you since you were a babe, this will be the first time you’ll part from me, so… I’ll be missing you dearly.” With those words the Wind Sprit tear some and looked to Kiyo, “I am counting on you to protect her and love her, please remember everything of your past if you want your future with Hikari-chan.” “I will… I’ll… protect her,” Kiyo said with a firm voice meaning every word.

Hearing that she would have to leave now she couldn't help but feel somewhat sad she looked down sad for a moment hearing the wind sprite couldn't come with them. She was nervous never being in the outside world before. Kiyo seemed certian and that made her happy as could be. "Thank you wind sprite for everything...guess we shall pack and leave as soon as were done" She says and hurries off grabbing her pack and packing with little things she had small tears running down her face. When she was done she went to Kiyo.
"You ready?"

It didn’t take Kiyo long to get his things since he didn’t unpack since coming to live with Hikari, he was ready to leave with her as she’d called out for him asking if he is ready to go, so with a nod Kiyo was ready to leave with her. As for a last good-by the Wind Sprit gave Hikari a hug though it was difficult as her arm went through her, but still there was a feeling of warmth when trying to hug her, “take care and be careful, best to leave now while it’s still dark, Kiyo remember your promise, take good care of Hikari-chan for me.”
On the road Kiyo held her by the hand leading Hikari to the first train station out of this small village but he had to do this carefully since he didn’t what anyone of this village to see them escaping together. This would get word of her Grandfather and he would look for them soon but not successfully if Kiyo can run far away with Hikari at a head start, “Hikari I just remembered something, I use to always hold your hand, and you never let go, even when I had to go home,” he said and smiled. After a lot away they came to the train station but the next one won’t come till another thirdly minutes so he had Hikari to sit down a take a rest, “you know what, I have no idea where we’ll go or live together.”

She hugged the wind goddess and bided her fare well she only had a small pouch with what money she had and some clothes and other belongings. She left out of the village looking around it was quiet . She would miss this place but staying here meant she would be locked and cornered Hikari wanted to be free from this fate her grandfather placed her in.
"I remember I never wanted to let go of your hand especially when you left...but I guess I'm all grown up now" she said and smiled brightly grabbing his hand and smiled at him. "I honestly have no clue ether...I've never been outside like you have" She admitted and sit down near him resting against him looking up at him. "Will just take the next train go as far as we can and then travel somewhere else then stay their and we can change how we look..." She says softly starting into his eyes.

For a moment Kiyo found himself silent while looking to Hikari as she explain where they would go, from his expression it seems as though he were experiencing da'ja vo, “you said this before. “You said this before, the same thing back when we were little,” remembering from a long time ago they came to this same train station, Hikari had her bags packed with a little backpack as if she were going on a trip, Kiyo remembered how cute she was trying to carry a heavy traveling bag since she was so little at the time. “I remember… when we were little we decided to run away from home to go on an adventure, we decide to run away and go to a place where your grandfather wouldn’t find you so we can be together, we almost got away if it hadn’t been for the that person selling the tickets who call both our parents. I asked the same thing where will we go and you said: we’ll just take the next train go as far as we can and then travel somewhere else then stay their and we can change how we look so grandpa won’t find us.” Sitting by her side Kiyo came much closer as his arm came around her, he’d kiss her on the lips as to recall something else as the reenactment helped, “we got caught but I made this promise to you, I’d promise I would come back for you and we’ll leave this town together and go some where we can live happily, with that promise I also gave you your first kiss,” then again Kiyo kissed Hikari on the lips as the train had finally came into station, “looks like this is our ride out, it’s strange that we’re back here and finally doing what we’d tried to do as kids, lets go Hikari-chan.”

Hikari's ears perked up when he said it was familaur she wondered if he was starting to remember things from the past. She couldn't help but wonder why he was doing this? So many years apart what if she wasn't the same Hikari he loved she knew he was the same Kiyo even from his memory loss, but Hikari had changed slightly when Kiyo left she placed a sturdy gaurd on her heart so she wouldn't feel any pain a part of her had become cold and heartless and she feared maybe he notice it inside her.
She looked up at him listening to his words. "I remember it's when we found out you were moving..." she said smiling weakly at the childhood memory. The memory had such strong meaning to her it felt like it happend just yesterday. When his arm wrapped around hers allowing him to get closer she couldn't help but get nervous and feel her face heat up shyly. The feeling of his lips calmed her it was a sweet gentle kiss. That recalled another memory to him their first kiss together. When the train came her ears perked and she nodded. "Yes our ride out...Kiyo-kun" she said and grabbed his hand and walked inside the train. When they took her seats she placed a hat over her her head and put her hair up into the hat her tail into her dress. She gave Kiyo a wink and a peace sign. "So they won't notice me so well" She said and stretched out tiredly.

Kiyo came on board the train with Hikari's as she took his hand, he took a seat next to her as she hide away her neko ears and tail cleverly with a hat, he did the same with a normal cap and how easily it was to hide his tail in his pant’s yet it hurt while sitting on it. Kiyo knew this was going to be a long trip as it was expected their going to rid the train all night including some of the hours in the morning. He allowed and urged her to rest on his lap to sleep as Kiyo pulled Hikari up to rest, he’d notice her looking quite sleepy and she need her rest, as for himself he decide to be the one to stay awake the whole time during the trip to nowhere in particular. The whole event got him to think how all of this was strange, how he moved away and lost all his memory of his childhood with Hikari and that somehow being lead by the inner feeling of instinct he was compelled to kept his promise to Hikari that he would come back for her and take her way from this town when they once tried running way together by train when they were young.
Came the next day as the sun raised the train had stopped on it final designation, “Hikari-chan… wakeup it’s time for us to get off,” he whispered in her ear, once she’d wakened Kiyo help take their bags and belongs as they disembarked. “It seem this is as far we’ve come on this railway, if we want to go further we’ll have to take the next train that will come in another eighteen minutes more or less, while we wait would to like something to eat Hikari-chan?” OOC: I know what your thinking and the answer is yes, this story is taking part of the Anime "Their Noble Masters." That is if you’ve seen that Anime series.

Hikari was suprised when he pulled her up to rest against him. she blushed taken off gaurd she felt bad since she was tired she had no serious reason to be tired, but after learning eveyrthing she did and crying her eyes out her body was more tired then doing double shifts. "Okay I'll go to sleep Kiyo...you better wake me up so you get sleep too." She mumbled barely able to keep her eyes open once she was rested against him. She closed her eyes and took small breaths quickly falling asleep.
When she slept she had a wonderful dream with her and Kiyo in it. They were happy in a small house in a big town filled with many kinds of people. What was even better was that they were happy with one another. They were about to kiss and thats when she heard a whisper. "Hikari-Chan its time to wake up" her ears perked and she got up quickly her face flushed as droll lingered on her mouth she wiped it off and saw the sun to see they were already there. She made a pouting face. "You didn't sleep Kiyo-kun" she whined pawing at his chest.
She helped him with the bags and her stomach growled at the mention of food she looked down. "Food sounds nice..." she said shyly looking around wondering what they should eat she pulled out some money she wanted to help pay somehow.
OOC: Nope never heard of it...I gonna go watch it XD
