Midori went wide eye and went to him and lunged at him.
"Sorry" Midori said ahead of time and flung her arms around him tightly trembling.
"Your not a demon child , you were born from human parents..." Midori said her voice cracking slightly she did not want Kazuki to suffer alone , she remembered the sad look on his face as a child , she felt horrible when moving away

Kazuhiko was in shock as she hugged him, he was about to attack her when he thought she was but feeling her against him made him whimper slightly. He hadn't touch another person in so long, he missed this girl so much. He died inside when she had left, things got worse as he grew older and he was finally moved out to live on his own.
"Midori... I ... I... I missed you so much... things have changed a lot I've forgotten how this feels to talk with someone."

Midori felt his body tense as though he were about to attack when she flung herself onto him. She didn't completely understand why he would react in such a manner. But hearing his whimper made her heart ache she wanted to cry for him even more. Hearing him admit he missed her made her feel slightly more better, knowing he did not at least hate her.
"I missed you as well...and you do not have to worry any more I am here and you can talk to me "

For the past ten years, he felt happy at this moment. Seing Midori in his small little hut, hugging him and crying for him. It set him off inside, such feelings he had bottled up and never opened were trying to spill out.
"Thank you Midori," he went to his window pulling a small white weed from the ground. Holding it in his hand, a grean light flashed and it turned into a white rose.
"For you," he smiled warmly.

Midori let go of him when he pulled away she could see some warmness in his eyes that made her feel all bubbley inside of herself, seeing others happy always' did that to her. When he said thank you she giggled shyly.
"Your welcome" She mumbled softyly and when she saw him pull the weed she gasped when it turned to a rose when he said for her she felt a blush creep to her cheeks she took the rose carefully and gazed down at it.
"It's Beautiful , thank you Kazu..." she said running her finger along the petals.
"Want to go to a resturant and get something to eat we can catch up "

He looked at her as she said thank you, but when she asked to go out he frowned and looked away.
"I can't.. I'm not allowed to leave the grounds of the Saiyuki family. I can't leave the mountain." He sat down on his futon.

Midori made a small face but nodded weakly and with a small sigh she closed her eyes.
"Oh I see...how about we eat something here than??? And next time I'll make a home made meal" She said

The words next time seemed to pull heavy on his chest but he nodded thankful that she understood, he reached up in a cupboard for a big bowl. Then wiggling his fingers and whispering a bit a branch came down filled with fruit. He picked some and set it on the small table,
"I don't have many things, fruit is quite plentiful but if I want meat I have to hunt for it. Rice is out of the questions as well, but sometimes fish from the river."

Midori looked at him as he made fruit , she wondered why he had to live this way.
"Why can't you go outside of the lands and get food? If you didn't have your ability you would starve cause you can't always' get fish..." Midori said sadly thats when she decided she would make him breakfast and dinner. She went to him staring at the food and grabbed a grape smiling
"Yummy" she bit into it

He sighed heavily he didn't like to talk about it much, he didn't want her to worry about him or do something that would get her into trouble.
"Well let's just say the family has made strict rules concerning me, I must abide by them or well there's trouble to pay." This secret of Kazuhiko was known by all family members except the children of the generation he was born with. Kids like Zane, Ryu, Midori and others didn't know the truth behind Kazuhiko's being they just thought he was inferior to them and treat him like crap. They would never know the real reason he was treated badly.

Midori frowned and bit her lip and fidgeted.
"Its not fair to you Kazu-kun..." She mumbled with a pout to her lip and glanced at him opening her cell phone, seeing how much the time passed it was now nine in the night.
"Yoinkers...ah Kazu-kun I have to go to sleep , I have troublesome school still " Midori whimpered making a face and then went and locked her arms around him hugging him tightly pressing her body against him, she was startled by how firm he was and felt a blush crawl to her cheeks.
"I'll be back tomorrow around seven in the night , better not forget!" Midori said looking down at her rose and got on her toes and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"Thanks for the flower....later Kazu-kun" she said and left heading back to her room

((Okay one: Its the feudal era... no cell phones. Two: yes its cruel but you have to remember what the family says goes or dishonor will be brought and that's bad.))
Kazuhiko felt great sorrow when she had to leave, but for the first time in a long time he felt anxiety, excitement to seeing her tomorrow. He couldn't wait, now to head on out and do his job. Yeah he told her he couldn't leave the grounds but late at night once a week he'd leave to go out and protect the people of the land from the plaguing spirits. That was what a Saiyuki member was trained and raised t odo, after the graduation ceremony they would be sent out in groups to protect villages. Of course it was for hire pay but Kazu did if for free and he hid his identity so no one would find out that he went out and disobeyed his grounding.
Kazuhiko had a great power many did not know of, for the few that do they either fear him or relish him. They believed he was a child of a god but most believed that god was dark and evil. So he tried his best to do good in the world and prove one day that he was a good person.

Midori reached her house and then went into her room shutting the door and sighed softly , her insides felt shaky she felt scared of getting caught but her desire to hang out with Kazuhiko was greater.
"Ah...at least I found him..." Midori mumbled as she laid down on her bed with a long shirt on and went to sleep , when she slept she dreamed about her and her childhood friends used to hang out all the time.
Midori woke with a start and sighed covering her face the sun directly hitting her face she closed her eyes for a moment then opened them again and sat up and got ready for school. She started to make breakfast two of them one for her and the other for Kazuhiko. She said bye to her mother and father and brother. she wondered if she see Ryu and Zane before leaving but hurried along hiding as she reached Kazuhiko's small hut , knocking on the door
"Hey are you there , wake up!"

The door opened to reveal a groggy Kazu, yawning and rubbing his eys sleepily.
"Its early mornig what are you doing here?" Just because every one else got up early didn't mean he did, he groaned letting her through when he smelled the food his stomach did a flip.
"Wow you made this? It looks really good."

Midori giggled looking at his hair which was all messed up from just waking up.
"Morning sleepy head" she said regardless of how grumpy he seemed and then nodded to his question.
"Yes , I have gotten alot better with my cooking , so this time you won't get sick " Midori grinned and hugged him.
"Well you better eat it , I have to get to class now see ya Kazu - Chan " She said and kissed his cheek and left
